![]() Stormwater Pollution Tackled by Louisiana Experts at StormCon ’07World’s Largest Stormwater Pollution Prevention ConferenceSanta Barbara, CA, May 8, 2007—Every community in the country is locked in a battle with stormwater runoff—the single largest source of ocean, river, lake, and stream pollution. Solutions to this challenge will be tackled by two of Louisiana’s leading stormwater experts, including Ben Miller and Paul Reilly, Filtration Specialists with Rain for Rent, who will present at the sixth annual StormCon, the world’s largest stormwater pollution prevention conference. StormCon will be held August 20–23, 2007, at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge hotel in Phoenix, AZ. Featuring nearly 200 presenters from 30 states and five countries, StormCon is the largest industry event in the world for professionals responsible for meeting the USEPA’s National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit program requirements, which seek to prevent natural water resource pollution before it happens. Thousands of municipal and industry leaders, federal agency representatives, engineers, consultants, contractors, and vendors are expected to attend to learn techniques, management strategies, and new technologies to improve community, construction-site, and industrial stormwater pollution prevention efforts. More than 150 vendors will exhibit stormwater-related equipment, products, and services. About StormConIn its sixth year, StormCon, the North American Surface Water Quality Conference and Exposition, is the largest national stormwater conference for the dissemination of techniques and technologies that fulfill the USEPA’s NPDES permit program (authorized by the Clean Water Act). StormCon is presented by Forester Communications, publisher of Stormwater magazine. Visit www.StormCon.com for more information. |
