Rain for Rent Student Programs

College students can benefit in two ways, employment through our Intern Program and through Scholarships sponsored by the Charles P. Lake Scholarship Foundation.

Internships

This new program is designed to give students valuable educational training through on-the-job experience.  To be eligible, students must have completed one full year of full-time undergraduate program and be a current student enrolled in a minimum of 12 units with a GPA of 3.0 or greater.  Areas of interest are: Engineering, Sales, Management, Information Technology, Human Resources/Safety, Accounting, and Marketing.  To apply for a Summer internship, students need to express interest to us through an e-mail and we will send an application. Application deadline is May 31th each year.

Scholarship Application Information  

Rain for Rent offers scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each annually to qualified college students who are pursuing a career in agriculture, business or engineering.  The scholarship program is administered through participating universities, farm bureaus and other designated groups.  Applications are accepted March 1st through June 30th each year and are available through your school.
