Reinke is the only pivot manufacturer to offer galvanized steel, chromium nickel steel and aluminum pipe, pivot and linear irrigation systems. Reinke recognized the need for an even more resilient pipe material that could be used in areas with extreme corrosion problems. After years of research and development, Reinke engineers released the S-65G/S-85G stainless steel family of irrigation machines. The S-65G and S-85G feature an all-stainless steel 304L pipeline supported by a galvanized steel undertruss.

Stainless steel's ability to resist corrosion is derived through a thin layer of chromium-oxide that is found on the surface of this material. When exposed to oxygen, this layer quickly re-seals surface areas disrupted by manufacturing processes such as welding, cutting, or machining, and provides the parent material with outstanding protection from corrosion.

The initial cost is quickly recouped when a system's life is extended to decades, rather than the two or three years useful life of some systems in similar environments.
