After a brief meeting with the pipeline group at a chemical company in Freeport, TX, it was determined that they were in need of a solution to a problem that has existed for a few years. A 20 mile stretch of 6” pipeline that runs diesel feed stock to another facility had, over the years, developed leaks and water has seeped into the lines.
Their
pipeline representative called Rain for Rent, Houston, to discuss what
needed to be done to dewater the line and separate the diesel from the
water. While our oil-water separator would be a perfect fix, we could
also filter the water and the diesel so it would be easier to dispose
of.
Impressed
with Rain for Rent‘s equipment and knowledge, the system was proposed.
We specified
