Bypass at Waste Water Treatment Plant Overcomes Bad Weather Conditions

A waste water treatment plant in Ohio needed to bypass their interceptor sewer line so that the existing system could be redirected into a new facility. The massive bypass would need to handle 50 MGD of sewage and be completed in challenging weather conditions including up to 18-inches of mud.
OUTCOME
Rain for Rent’s system design and attention to detail surpassed the competition’s plan for a turnkey bypass. The system utilized a combination of 16-inch electric and diesel driven pumps and instrumentation, which enabled the construction contractor to rehab the interceptor line.
