Coronavirus (COVID-19) Letter to Customers

Rain for Rent Coronavirus Response

RE: Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19)

To Whom It May Concern:

Western Oilfields Supply Company, dba Rain for Rent, is closely monitoring the Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak. It is our goal to continue providing a safe and healthy workplace to all our employees, contractors, and customers. We are actively taking precautions to ensure everyone’s well-being.

An Emergency Response Team has been assembled to monitor the situation, assess the exposures, and implement policies to mitigate risk to our employees and customers. The Company has implemented CDC recommendations at each Rain for Rent location; additionally, we have ramped up our internal communication to employees via podcasts, emails and company intranet.

Rain for Rent is also implementing a temporary paid time off policy for all employees who may be infected with the virus or have a family member who needs care. To ensure our team members are well when they return, we have initiated a third-party physician hotline to engage each employee in a confidential questionnaire to confirm they are no longer a health risk to others when they return to work.

In addition, the Company’s Pandemic Response, Emergency Action and Continuity Plans are being reviewed and updated. Branches are ensuring their protocols are up to date and copies have been sent to headquarters so corporate departments may step in if a branch is in need. As of this week, Rain for Rent has also restricted all non-essential air travel and is encouraging virtual meetings with customers and suppliers where possible. To promote virtual communication, the IT Department has granted access to zoom for all employees.

Furthermore, Rain for Rent’s Purchasing Department has been in contact with our critical suppliers to ensure we have an accurate understanding of the impacts of this virus on our ability to meet our customers’ needs. The latest information we have reflects that our current inventory levels are appropriate, and operations will be minimally impacted. Overall, we do not believe our customers will experience a difference in our ability to service their needs. Additional steps are underway to supplement our field service capabilities as this virus continues to spread.

Rain for Rent will continue to monitor our employees and suppliers for any disruptions and take the necessary precautions to prevent customer service interruptions from occurring. We thank you for your understanding. We will continue to take proactive steps to keep everyone healthy and safety as our top priority.
