Media Filters
Sand media filters excel in all types of general filtration applications for sediment removal. These units filter up to 20 microns with flows from 70 to 1,960 GPM and have operating pressures from 80 to 100 PSI.
Media filters can be used as a polishing unit when deep bed units are utilized. When used in combination with Chitosan, these filters can remove colloidal solids.
Sand media filter, available with manual and automated backwash, can also be used as a pre-filter for bag and cartridge filtration.
