Filtration Saves Fuel Pipeline Expansion
Unexpected ground contaminants don’t delay airfield pipeline upgrades
A U.S. airfield looking to upgrade its fueling capabilities chose Rain for Rent to provide tanks for groundwater storage during excavation. When ground was broken, it was discovered the soil contained small amounts of jet fuel chemicals.
When the airfield contractor called for filtration, a system was immediately provided. Rain for Rent delivered a treatment system using two bag filtration units, two settling tanks and two 4-inch pumps.
Because of Rain for Rent’s breadth of experience across many industries they were able to quickly supplement the original need of water storage with a complete filtration system without delaying the project.
